I just got your book Dancing with God, I lost my Step Father in a car accident this summer and I’ve really been looking for inspiration, Most people say that when someone dies it’s a wound and you eventually heal, but I think when it’s someone this close it’s more like a amputation and you don’t really heal, you just learn to live in a new way. You’re book is already helping me and I’m not even halfway through. Although I wish no one else ever has to go through something like this, It’s nice to have someone who has because they actually know what it is like. Thank you

I’m so glad the book is helping you. Yes, those of us who’ve lost people we love share in the same kind of struggle with pain and ache. You’ll be ok. Even though it’s rough, you’ll be ok. Learn from the journey. Don’t force the mourning process and trust that God is walking next to you through it all!
