I woke this morning to the news that Russia has seized Ukraine’s (and the world’s) largest nuclear plant. Slowly, Putin’s forces are creeping across the country, devouring everything in his attempt to regain what he feels is land belonging to the former USSR.
Evil creeps.
Often, it doesn’t flash on the scene unannounced or without the preparatory signs of future movement. It takes one small step, one small action, one small statement, like “Did God really say?” before long, evil is not just at your house, it is in the kitchen, ransacking your daily resources and leaving you feeling empty – hungry for good.
Beware of the smallness of giving in. Watch for little “letting go’s” of truth, of freedom, of liberty. Don’t hesitate to call out ideas or beliefs that are not life-giving or right or healthy for people. And for all that is good in the world, examine your life to stop the evil that creeps.
