If you know me well, you know first that my oldest daughter, Makenzie, died in a car accident in 2009. Today, she would’ve celebrated 31 years of earthly life.
Part of who we are as a family is the gift of music. We exercised that gift all of the time, even casually. In celebration of her gift, here’s a video of us “trying” to sing the Star-Spangled Banner.

What a gift to have these precious videos! And what amazing talent by all! Time passes – the pain does not. And they stay forever young! Thank you for sharing, Todd! Blessings to all of the Stocker family
Thank you Todd! I presume Nathan was behind the camera. What a precious memory and thank you for sharing it with us. What a beautiful family! Smiles all around! Missing Makenzie with you!💔🙏
Touched our hearts, deeply. A fond memory of Makenzie and the beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. More families should sing this together. We miss, Kenny and I, all of you and Makenzie made her precious mark in the world. God Bless you all.
Todd What a wonderful video you have such a musically talented family! Heartfelt prayers that God continually touch your family. Hugs from us to you!
